The PCM5242 is a monolithic CMOS integrated circuit that includes a digital-to-analog stereo converter and uses the latest generation of TI’s advanced segment DAC architecture to achieve excellent dynamic performance and improved clock jitter tolerance.
It integrates a fully programmable miniDSP core, which allows developers to integrate filters, custom interpolators and other functions through the use of the Usb i2S / I2C configurator customizing the use of the product.
It also provides 4.2VRMS center-to-ground differential outputs, allowing designers to eliminate DC blocking capacitors at the output as well as external muting circuits traditionally associated with individual power line drivers.
